Why does my russian dwarf hamster lick me !!?

well i lifted my 14 week old russian dwarf hamster out of his cage usually when i do this he riggles but he didnt ( i got him when he was 9-10 weeks old :p) + then suddenly he started licking my finger and looking very comfy in my hands and he didnt wriggle why is this + he usually bites me when i do this but he didnt P.S his name is "bumble" he is the cutest !! xxriobabyxx
