Magazines to publish a short story?

I'm a writer looking to be published in a non online magazine. The only place I've been published in before is my high school's literary magazine, so I don't know much about this all. My creative writing teacher suggested I submit to 17 after she read one of my stories, but from what I understand 17 doesn't published unsolicited works. My story is about a man who grew up in the 60s/70s that reflects on his past when he goes to his high school reunion. It's about 2600 words long. I'm not looking to be paid. Can I get some suggestions as to which publications may be best for me to submit to?
